My Pamper Evening Essentials

Heyy everyone! I apologise that I haven't posted in over a month! *slaps one's hand*
I've been so busy with school recently and have had to juggle revision, homework and sleep; and boy is it hard work! Which in actual fact, also leads me on to this post in particular...

As viewed above, these products are my 'holy grail' pamper essentials when it comes to a relaxing Friday night in. Most of us feel like we have a long week every week, am I right? And even though the coffee has kept you going, your pillow is calling your name from the minute you get home and the sofa has coaxed you into falling asleep sitting up, what yo really want is half hour relaxing with your feet up....or just your bed. But nevertheless, everyone needs a wind-down from being a busy bee and make a routine of pampering yourself every week. Whether it is listening to music, meditating with a face mask on, yoga or a bath, your relaxation time is very important.

Usually, I will have my pamper evening on a Friday and get changed from my school wear to a dressing gown. Then I'll begin to run a bath whilst I take off my makeup. Then I'll pop either a bath bomb in or crumble a bubble bar under the tap.

I decided to use Lush's bubble bar called the Comforter and it smells delicious! I would say it's a very fruity, berry scent, similar to blackcurrant. During my bath I like to read or listen to music and at the moment, I'm currently reading 'All the Bright Places' by Jennifer Niven. This book is amazing so far but I'm also quite sad that I'm near the end :'( As a brief summary (I don't want to give too much away), this book is about two lost souls who end up helping each other out and in a way, saving one another. Both characters are really different but you instantly take a like to both. As you embark on their journey with them, this book most definitely takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions and it raises so much awareness to mental illness. THIS IS A MUST-READ!!

So after my bath, I'll move onto cleansing my face and then applying a face mask. I like to use Superdrug's De-Stressing mud mask as I find that it gets right into my pores and unclogs any dirt in them. It also leaves my face feeling silky smooth and fresh. I find that the size of the packet is really convenient, especially for travel.

Then, I'll wash off the mask, put on a nose strip and then apply Tea Tree lotion to my T-zone where my most problematic areas are. I'll then apply my Aveeno Creamy oil moisturiser which has saved my incredibly dry skin!! Lots of doctors recommend using this if you have dry skin or have eczema. After moisturising, I like to finish my evening with painting my nails and OMG I am in L.O.V.E with Tanya Burr's Penguin Chic nail polish; a beautiful pastel brown.
